Our Philosophy
Bradmere & Merrymeet Residential Care Homes are run very much as a family unit accommodating
fourteen adult residents living at Merrymeet and twelve living at Bradmere, all who have undergone psychiatric treatment and are now ready to rejoin the community. The placements are available to all adults between the ages of 18-65 with a mental ill health condition. Bradmere & Merrymeet Residential Care Homes do not offer nursing care or emergency admissions.
Our aim is to help residents integrate with and lead a meaningful lifestyle within the community.
Both homes are run with the minimum of house rules thus encouraging residents to become part of the family environment. Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms, we wish to nurture the feeling of security and comfort which this policy supports.
At Bradmere & Merrymeet Community Services, our aim is to assist clients to live independently in the community and to encourage and support them to attain their goals.
B & M Stepping Stones Ltd is a charitable organisation offering housing for supporting people with mental health needs. The aim of B & M Stepping Stones is to counsel/support tenants with their domestic, social, educational and emotional needs so enabling them to live a full independent life when they move on to their own accomodation.
