New Holiday Home -    

We have recently purchased a new holiday home overloking the lake at Marton Mere holiday village near Blackpool. We are aiming towards August / September '09' for availability for our reidents and are looking forward to spending weekends there throughout the summer and later in the year when the famous Blackpool Iluminations are on. The accommodation itself is a 3 Bedroom caravan that will comfortably sleep 3/5 persons with privacy. We will look forward to posting some 'holiday snaps' on our website soon, so watch this space !!


Green Fingers -

Some of the residents of Bradmere and Merrymeet have been enjoying gardening sessions at Tindall Street allotments, Peel Green. They regulary attend on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and despite the wet weather have still managed to enjoy getting green fingers. Brad is currently negotiating with the organisers to see if we can acquire our own patch to grow fruit and vegetables for the Care Homes and Support Houses.

Eyes Down -

Staff and residents have been enjoying their regular Bingo afternoons with some really good token prizes for the lucky winners. This is a really good laugh with some funny tales to tell, So fingers crossed for a good win next time. Everyone keep practicing.................. 'HOUSE'.
